Return train ride, I stare at the floor
You sit in front, and it changes the score
I lift up my eyes, and the sadness is past
Your smile flips the day, makes it brighter at last
You say, so many delays, in a confident tone
I loosen up, and the silence is gone

You ask where I'm going, I smile as I say
Just back from my job, it has been a long day
